Theatre Arts I - incorporates an introduction to theatre, the role of an actor in interpreting and performing comedic and dramatic literature, performance theory and techniques and an overview of the technical elements of theatrical production. Requirements include attendance at one live theatrical performance selected from professional, community and educational theatre each semester.
Theatre Arts II-III - is for the student who has already had the basics of Theatre Arts I and wishes to pursue more extensive study of the acting elements. Some advanced, individual and group projects are required of this student through class and public performances. Requirements include attendance at one live theatrical performance selected from professional, community and educational theatre each semester.
Theatre Production I-III (Centerstage) - is an advanced fine arts course exploring the principles of production through practical experiences in acting, creative movement, improvisation, playwrighting, directing and technical theatre. Requirements for this class include outside crew hours, multiple productions that require after school and evening rehearsals, and attendance at one live theatrical performance selected from professional, community and educational theatre each semester
Technical Theatre I-II - combines theories of design and stagecraft techniques with construction and operation of the various technical theatre elements including scenery, properties, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup and publicity. This is a study of the backstage elements of theatre and does not include any acting. Requirements include building scenery for productions and attendance at one
